 By Laws and Organizational OverviewOrganizational Overview Dennis Lyle, President and CEO of Illinois Broadcasters, oversees the management of the association with the aid of his executive assistant and marketing assistant. Lyle is a registered Illinois lobbyist and the key contact for legislative matters and PEP/NCSA sponsorship sales. Lyle also serves in the role of Publisher for the Association's monthly newsletter, Transmitter. Donna Moore, Administrative Assistant, is responsible for office management and accounting, assists in the areas of member services and resources, such as EEO1 Source. Brandi Coffey, Member Services Coordinator is responsible for Alternative Broadcast Inspections, job postings, membership,and manages the NCSA/PEP program with member stations. Debra Gray, Marketing Director, assists in development of continuing educational opportunities for IBA members, plans and coordinates all meetings including the annual convention, creates and edits the monthly newsletter, oversees the Silver Dome Competition, and is responsible for Special Projects. IBA is governed by a board of 19 members and with working committees: Government Relations, IBAcademics and RBC (Radio Broadcasters of Chicago.) IBA contracts with legal counsel in both Illinois and Washington DC to provide its members up to the minute information on issues that may affect them. IBA contracts with a lobbyist and another association to provide us with support with regard to legislative issues. IBA administers a Multicultural Internship Program (MIP) to provide learning opportunities to junior and senior level college students and funding for an annual workshop to introduce high school students to careers in broadcasting.
